Here is a video of our performance from JV Invites. We had 20.5 points in penalties, which lead to 20th place. You will see that twice we had girls tumble into eachother. Ouch!! But the penalties were for stepping on a sign and tumbling on poms.
The score does not reflect how good you looked on the floor other than those few mistakes.

I will see some people for the geometry study session on Tuesday after school, and everyone next Thursday for basketball cheer practice.

Varsity Cheer State Championships
This Friday, December 3rd, are the Varsity State Championships for 5A cheer. Our varsity performs around 10am for preliminaries. We will need to miss that due to school. Last year they made finals, and we really hope to make finals again this year. If they do, they will perform again at around 7pm (the top six 5A cheer finalists perform for 2nd time). The announcement of the finalists will be at 2:50pm. I will text the JV girls at 3pm when school gets out to let them know if Monarch made finals.
JV cheer should be there to support our team in finals. It would be great for the girls to see the cheer state finals regardless of whether or not our varsity is in the finals. So, you may want to carpool to the colliseum Friday night. You will need to be at the stadium no later than 6:30pm in order to find a seat for finals. That means leaving by 6pm. The stands will get very crowded. Cost is $6 for students, and $8 for adults.
The all-girls teams will be done at 8pm. Then at 9:15pm, the Final Awards are announced.

Additional Cheer practice next Monday, October 18
.Mark your calendars:
The volleyball team is at an away tournament next Monday, so we will have a rare oppurtunity to use the gymnasium. Varsity is practicing until 6:30 that day with all of the mats out, so we will get in there after them. I am asking the girls to arrive at 6:15 in order to stretch out and warmup so we are ready to go at 6:30. Then we will be on full mats until 8:30pm.
GIRLS: PLEASE WEAR YOUR COYOTES SHIRT AND BLACK MOHI SHORTS.
The girls should try to get ahead on any schoolwork this weekend as I am aware that many of them also tumble on Monday afternoon. Practices the remainder of the week are unchanged.

Cheer the remainder of this week September 29 to October 2
.
We really struggled to find drivers to the away game this Saturday. So, I have decided that we will just cheer for the freshmen home game this week. The game is at 4pm on Thursday, so we would be having practice anyway. We cannot afford to miss a practice, so we will instead have practice on Saturday morning instead of going to the away game. Practice will be on Saturday morning at the school from 9 to noon. We will probably be in the cafeteria.
Because we will not have uniforms for everyone yet by Thursday, we will wear black JV cheer jerseys, new bows, and black skorts to the game. I have skorts for those who do not have them yet. You will receive skorts and bows at Xtreme on Wednesday night.
New girls, please practice the following cheers. You will be able to cheer the entire first half if you know these cheers: This is your homework.
MHS
F-I-R-E (Let's get Fired UP)
Cleats
We're Brave, We're Bold, Hey We're Black and Gold
VICTORY, That's the Monarch Battle Cry

Blow you Away
F-I-G-H-T

JV Cheerleading Tryouts
We will be holding additional tryouts for the Junior Varsity Cheer team on Monday, Sept 20. Please come to the student center at 4:30 on Monday. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the information meeting from 4:30 to about 5:15.
Please Contact me, Lucie Lyons, in advance. I would like to get an idea of how many candidates to expect on Monday.
mohijvcheer@yahoo.com
At tryouts on Monday, you will be asked to demonstrate a jump, a cheer, tumbling if you have experience, and some stunting. You will be taught everything that you need to know before the tryouts begin. Please wear a white shirt, black shorts if you have them, and cheer-type shoes. Girls should have your hair in a ponytail. We will have an information meeting from 4:30 to 5pm, then learn material. Plan to be there until at least 6:30 pm.(Parents are encouraged to attend the information meeting.) Plan to have a sports physical, as that will be required right away if you make the team.
JV Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-5:30 at the school. Wednesdays from 8 to 9 at Xtreme Altitude Gym in Broomfield, and tumbling either Monday from 4 to 5 (learning backhandsprings) or Wednesdays from 7 to 8 (already can do a backhandspring, working tucks to twists) based on skill level.
The cost is approximately $700 total for the season for new cheerleaders who start now, and most items are reusable next season, or may be resold to other incoming cheerleaders next season.

SpiritFest at Elitch Gardens
.
September 11, 2010 at Elitch Gardens.
Two JV stunt groups are competing in the stunt group division that day. The schedule is approximate, and they may perform earlier or later. If you are only coming to watch the competition, please arrive at Elitches at least 90 minutes before to have time to park, get tickets if necessary, come through the entrance and screening, and make it to the performance area and find a seat. They will not seat during a performance, and the crowd can back up out of the venue sometimes.
Group A: Performs at 12:30pm
Reilly, Sydney, Ashley, Kaitlin, and Rachel
Group B: Performs at 12:35pm
Josie, Juliana, Fallon, Ally, and Destiney
The park opens at 10am, but registration begins for the competition at 8am, and the competition begins at 9am. All-Star teams compete first.
For the 10 Monarch JV competitors, please meet at MHS at 8am to run through the routines a few more times. Everyone else please arrive at 9am. We will leave for Elitches at 9:15am. All cheerleaders wear your new uniforms, no liners, with black bows. Also bring your JV cheerleader t-shirts and some shorts or jeans to change into for the remainder of the day. Also bring a little cash for food and drinks. Competitors will want to bring a healthy snack.
After arriving at Elitches, we will all meet at the entrance and I will give you tickets. We can go in before the general public with our tickets. We will head straight in to the venue to register and watch a team or two, so we get a feel for the venue.
Then, we can go ride some rides until 11:30.
Meet again at the venue at 11:30. We will warmup and stretch, and mark the routines.
We can head backstage at around 12:15 for our 12:25 warmup on the mats.
Then we will go out immediately and perform.
Following the performance, we can meet outside for a quick discussion,
then we will sit together in the stands to watch the JV teams perform.
The entire competition is complete at 3:30, and awards are at 3:45. We will need to be there for those as we will be awarded placings.
So, at around 4pm, we will ride some rides until about 5:30. Then meet at the front entrance for departure.
We need drivers to the event at 9am, and home around 5:30pm. Let Renee Enroth know if you can drive that day. Girls can be picked up at the school around 6pm.
Unless other arrangements are necessary on an individual basis, the girls will stay at the park until around 5:30pm. At which point, we will all meet together at the entrance. I will release girls to their parents or designated drivers at that time.
Parents: AAA has tickets for $22.99each. Google "Elitch Gardens Discount tickets" and AAA is near the top of the search results. You may be able to find other discounts as well, but that is better than the price we were given through Spiritfest of $26/ticket.
Non-competitor cheerleaders, bring your season pass. I think you all have one. I have tickets for the competitors. I will hand them out at the gate, so noone loses theirs.
Finally, this is a relatively low stress competition, as everyone is just beginning their season. It is meant to be fun. Let's enjoy the day, and show them what we've got.
GO MONARCH!!!

Cheer Picture Day
PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AT THE LINK BELOW:
Cheer is scheduled for 4:15 on Thursday, August 26. So, everyone please bring your uniform to school tomorrow. We can discuss tonight which one we would like to wear for photos. We will practice until 4 on Thursday, then I will give everyone 15 minutes to change and primp for the photos. We will just finish the rest of practice in our uniforms.
Sorry for the late notice, I just received the email. I will see if I can pick up some forms today at the school and I can hand them out at mat rental tonight. Have your daughter bring the form and payment to practice on Thursday. They will take a team photo and individuals.
You can see some samples at the link below. YOUR PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE NOW TO VIEW AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: (Just search for your child under youth/event photos.)

September in JV Cheer
Tuesdays and Thursdays from right after school until 5:30pm, unless you are competing in the stunt group division at Elitch Gardens then plan to stay until 6:30pm for this week and next week.
Wednesday nights at Xtreme Altitude form 8 to 9pm. Just FYI: some of the JV girls are taking the tucks to twists tumbling class with Kassie from 7 to 8pm at the same location (this is for anyone who already has backhandspring and roundoff-backhandspring skills). If there is enough interest, we can have another coach teach a backhandspring/etc class at the same time. This would be in addition to the Suns class on Monday nights. It is good to have more than one tumbling class each week, and it is convenient being right before mat rental because the girls are on time and warmed up. Let Kassie at Xtreme know if you are interested in taking that class.
Friday, Sept 3, at school: Wear Black "JV Cheerleading" jersey with shorts or jeans. Everything on your body needs to be gold, black or white.
Friday night, Sept 3, varsity football game at Spangenberg Field at Centaurus High School. All varsity home games are held there. The game starts at 7pm. All new cheerleaders need to attend this first game. You will sit with me in the parent section for the first half of the game so that I can teach you about football. Please arrive by 6:45pm. You can wear what you want, but you will need to have an activity pass or a ticket to get in. Other girls, varsity games are optional, but you are, of course, encouraged to attend to show school spirit. Please be on your best behaviour, as you are always representing Cheer, especially at school sporting events.
Saturday morning, Sept 4, JV football game in Broomfield: Game starts at 10am. Meet at Monarch High School at 8:45am. We will carpool over and back. Every girl needs to ride in the carpool to and from the game. We should return to MHS around 12:30 or 1pm. Wear new game uniform with no liner and black bows. If your black bow is broken, please bring it to practice tomorrow so I can fix it.
Bring Poms.
Monday, Labor Day Parade: Please arrive at the black top behind LMS at 8:45am. See blog post below.
We will not cheer for the JV game in Greeley on Wednesday, Sept 8. Instead we will cheer for the freshmen football game at home on the same day. The game starts at 4pm. Girls come straight from class to the grass on the north side of the building. We will warm up for the game. The game should be over before 6pm. NO mat rental that night. Wear new game uniforms to school. Bring poms and black bows.
Saturday Spirit Fest at Elitch Gardens, Sept 11: I will let everyone know as soon as I get the schedule. The park opens at 10am. The stunt group competition will be sometime in the early afternoon, I think. Then we will watch some of the competition. Stunt group competitors meet at MHS at 8am to run-through the stunt routines a few last times. Everyone else arrive at 9am. We will leave at 9:15am. I need drivers to and from Elitches.

Choreography extra day
.
I spent the day today (8 hours, and 8 hours again tomorrow) at the gym while varsity is working their competition choreography. And, I really think that JV could use more time on full mats.
So, I have requested the small gym on Friday afternoon, August 27th, so we can roll out all of our mats for some extra work on the choreography. I should get notice this week if that works in the school schedule. (It currently shows clear.) Please mark your calendars for practice that day from 3 to 6pm. It is easier to cancel, than to schedule another practice with even shorter notice. Thanks. SCRATCH THIS!!!
I spoke with the volleyball coach today, and they practice after school next Friday in both gyms from 4 to 6:30. So, we cannot practice then. Volleyball has everyday after school and most Saturdays in both gyms as well. However, he says that they are not practicing this Saturday, August 21. I know that the girls have Club Mo on Friday night, so I would like to call a practice this Saturday from noon to 3pm. I also realize that it is very short notice. We could really use some time on full mats to get the choreography going. Then on Wednesday night mat rental we can run and mark the routine for an hour once/week. We have 4 mat rentals before our first competition.

New Calendar feature
I will keep this calendar up to date with any schedule changes. I have added the Basketball schedule to this blog and to the calendar. Please be careful about the "map" feature of the calendar, as it often seems to be wrong. For instance, the Xtreme Altitude that it sometimes maps is of is the Lafayette gym. We will be at the Broomfieild gym. And if I type MHS as the location, it thinks we are in Arizona.

JV Competition music
I have uploaded a video of the competition music with the description of what is happening at each count. This may be interesting for the girls to see. If it makes sense to you, please study it and visualize if you can.
Click on the Title above or the link below. I changed the video because the second music was not synced to the descrption screens. Now that is fixed.

KNOW YOUR CHEERS TESTING
.
PRACTICE YOUR CHEERS.
You will be tested this Thursday. If you do not know them, you will condition for every cheer you do not know. Returning girls, you should now them well. New girls, I am expecting you to start to be able to get the motions tighter and stronger. Please practice in the mirror or with a friend. The more you practice, the easier it is. Our first game is in one month. Check the "CHEERS" page for the test schedule, and know those cheers.
If you do not pass the tests before the first game, you will sit in the stands until you know your cheers.

Rules regarding jewelry
.
At this point, I need to reiterate the rules regarding jewelry. It is a National Federation of High School Sports (NHFS) rule that athletes in any sport are not to wear jewelry at any time including practices, games and performances. The NFHS has recently reiterated that on the front page of the Spirit (cheers and poms) section of their website. See the following link. (Look under "Points of Emphasis" at the bottom of the link:)
http://www.nfhs.org/content.aspx?id=4000
Copied here for your convenience:
"Jewelry – Spirit coaches are expected to follow the rules written for the safety of all participants of cheerleading and dance. The spirit rules regarding jewelry (2-2-1 and 3-1-2) apply to all spirit activities, which includes both practices and performance events. It is the coach’s responsibility to teach and enforce this rule before it becomes an issue. Recent fashion trends have coaches and participants questioning this simple ruling with unnecessary challenges. With the exception of religious and medical medals, examples of jewelry include, but are not limited to: necklaces, bracelets, rings, all facial and body piercings (includes spacers and fishing line), wrist bands, corsages, and hair ties on wrists. This rule is consistent with rules concerning jewelry in the NFHS rule books for other athletic activities. “No jewelry” means NO JEWELRY."
At Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) sanctioned events, like the State Championships in Cheer and Poms, a team will be severely penalized for any jewelry infraction. A team was brought down from the top 5 to the bottom 10 (over 20 positions) because one cheerleader had a hair band on her wrist. Jewelry is taken very seriously.
The NFHS rule book states the following: Section 2-2-1:
"Jewelry must not be worn except for religious or medical medals, which shall be taped to the body (without a chain) under the uniform."
CHSSA is strict at competitions and does not allow jewelry to be taped, bandaged or otherwise covered. It must be removed.
This rule is also in the Monarch High School Cheerleading contract, and always has been. The Monarch Contract, signed by girls and their parents, reads:
" No visible tattoos, earrings, necklaces, nose rings or other body piercings are permitted in uniform or at practices. This is a rule set forth by the National Federation of High School Spirit, and also enforced by the Colorado High School Athletic Assn."
It is also on the "Summary of Uniform and Practice Rules" section of the contract, which we went over line by line with the girls at practice.
"While in Monarch Cheerleading Uniform, at practices or any team events:"
"No jewelry or rubber bands on wrists"
"No navel or other piercings showing at any time"
This has been covered, and the girls should be aware. We have been allowing them to tape their fresh piercings at practices, but this will not be allowed at camp, games, competitions, appearances, pep rallies, or any performance. They will need to be removed. Closed loop jewelry like hoop earrings, nose rings, etc. cannot be taped. They are dangerous no matter what.
As a certified cheerleading coach, I am required to enforce these rules with the team.

Cheer Sisters
.
All of the new cheerleaders need to get together with the returning cheerleaders to learn the cheers. We have assigned pairings based on where everyone lives, so hopefully noone needs to travel very far. If you cannot get together with one of your assigned girls, then call someone else. You will all be responsible for learning the cheers over the summer. You will be tested at practice every Thursday with 6 new cheers.
Here are the groupings:
Destiney: Josie and Kaitlin (Louisville)
Ally: Tori and Fallon (Superior)
Ashley: Tori and Rachel (Superior)
Sydney: Fallon and Reilly (Superior)
Jessica: Juliana and Rachel (Lafayette)
Sierrah: Hannah and Kaitlin (Louisville)
Carrie: Fallon (Louisville)
Returning girls, please reach out to your assigned new cheerleaders. And new cheerleaders, don't be shy about calling these girls up. There are lots of vacations in the summer, so think ahead and learn as many as possible, as soon as possible.
The test schedule begins next Thursday, June 10 (mostly cheers you have already learned at practice):
Good Luck
Stomp and Shake It
MHS (to the side)
F-I-R-E
G-O, G-O, MHS (Tryout Cheer)
Let's Go Black, Let's Go Gold (Tryout Sideline)
Thursday, June 17:
Raise Your Hands
Scared
Black, White, Gold (Coyotes, Coyotes...)
Coyote Stomping Ground
G-O, Let's Go Monarch
Move on Out to Victory

Cheer Practice next week (Finals week, May 24 to May 28)
.
Reminder:
JV does not have practice next week due to finals. (Also, no practice the first week out of school.)
However, Meagan will be holding a varsity practice next Monday and Wednesday from 4-5pm. Meagan is the varsity assistant coach. They will be working on cheers and dances. All of JV is invited to attend these practices, and new cheerleaders are encouraged to attend. I am aware that many of you have tumbling practice on Mondays, so you will probably only want to go on Wednesday. (Also with only one final on Thursday, hopefully you can fit in a quick hour of cheer.)

Photos posted today on Flickr
.
I took some pictures today at our first mandatory practice. These photos are streaming to the left.
Great practice, by the way. We have one solid liberty in the air at this point, and we are working 2 more. They are in the "almost there" stage.
I have loaded some low-resolution images to Flickr at this point. I will put up higher resolution copies later in case people want to make prints.
This Flickr account is available in the permanent pages at the top of the screen.

Enhancements added to this Blog
.
Check it out. The search bar now works to search through the existing posts. Yay!
Also, for easy access to schedules and information, I have added pages across the top of the blog to go directly to the post you need. I will also add a link up there to a photo sharing site to input photos. Does anyone have a favorite photo sharing site, like Shutterfly or Flickr?
If we get that going, then any of us will be able to add photos to share, and order prints.

Cheer Central Tumbling update
So, the first Cheer Central Suns tumbling class for Level 1/2 tumblers starts today from 4-5pm. Please arrive early to turn in the paperwork that I handed out last practice, and arrive no later than 3:40.
Danielle told me to just email her with the names of everyone participating in this class, as the website does not seem to be working to register for our class. So, please email me to let me know if you are planning to be in that class, even if you will not be able to attend the first class today.
One other thing that I forgot to point out about this class is that my dream is that this quickly becomes a level 2/3 class as we all progress. So, it will evolve as our team improves. So, don't worry about outgrowing the class before the end of the season. My hope is that the class will grow with us. If you are already a Level 3/3excel, you should find a different class, because you need to be making improvements as well.

Added Search Engine/Cheer Central Registration
.
I just added the search engine to the blog, but it does not seem to work for searching the blog entries at this time. It works well for searching linked sites. I will try to get it working soon.
Also, some of you may have tried to register for the tumbling class at Cheer Central. The class selection portion does not appear to be working at this time. So, I believe that you can get the registration portion done. But you just can't actually place yourself in the class yet. I have contacted Danielle at CC to see what the problem is.

There will be a brief meeting after practice this Thursday at 5:15pm at MHS, (at the end of cheer practice), for those interested in the cheer tumbling class at CHeer central. I will have paperwork for you to fill out, and I can hopefully answer any of your quesitons.
This class is for Level 1 and Level 2 tumblers (anyone from beginners to those still working on getting a solid backhandspring and roundoff backhandspring on the floor.)
The class will begin next Monday, and will be held every Monday from 4-5pm at Cheer Central.
Those not in this class should look into the regular scheduled classes at the Suns or Xtreme, as well as the open gyms at these locations. In preparation for the season, everyone needs to be in a tumbling class at least once per week.

UCA Cheer Summer Camp
.
Mark your calendars for Cheer camp this summer.
July 6th to July 9th at CU in Boulder. This is an overnight camp. We will be staying in the dorms for 3 nights.
Camp is very important to the team as a whole. We will be learning so many things, but most importantly, proper stunt technique. We really need everyone there to complete our stunt groups. It is also a time that we will get to know eachother very well. Cheerleading is so much about trust, so we really need to learn to trust eachother. Camp is the time to bond with teammates to help establish that trust, and become a cohesive team.
If you have a major schedule conflict, and absolutely cannot make it to camp, please let me know ASAP.

JV Captain Vote
.
We are voting for captain after school on Monday. We will need to meet for about 20 minutes in the cafeteria right after school.
Those that would like to be considered for captain please fill out the application and be prepared to give a speech.
Those voting include anyone that was a Monarch cheerleader last year who is now on the JV team, or was on the JV team last year. So, this includes Tori, Reilly, Hannah, Kaitlin, Katie O, Fallon, Lily, Juliana, Carrie, Tatiana, Josie, and Rachel.
I just have to say, I am so excited about this season. With 11 returning cheerleaders and only 7 new JV cheerleaders, every stunt group will have 2 or 3 experienced stunters. We will move along very quickly. I have so many fun stunt and pyramid ideas that I can't wait to try.
Even if you are not voted captain this year, all veteran cheerleaders need to be leaders in welcoming our new cheerleaders, teaching cheers and techniques, and being supportive of the team as a whole. We need all of you to step up to having a great attitude and be prepared to work hard to make the practices very productive.

Monarch Girls in Basketball Final Four
.
Hopefully everyone on JV will be coming out to cheer on the Monarch girls varsity basketball team at the CU Colliseum on Wednesday. JV will not be cheering, but if it is anything like last year, the game will be very exciting to watch. It would also be great for the JV girls to see Varsity cheer at such a huge game.
The Final Four game is this Wednesday at 8:30 pm at the CU event center. If they win, then they play in the finals on Friday at CU at 8pm.
I hope to see all of you there.

TRYOUT INFORMATION
.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!
I would also highly recommend that everyone keep going to tumbling classes. Also try some other gyms for a class to prepare skills for tryouts. (try Xtreme at http://www.xtremealtitude.com/ or Cheer Central at http://www.cheercentralsuns.com/ for the regular class schedules. Or try CATS at http://www.catsgym.com/) This is obviously not a requirement, but tumbling skills will be an important portion of the tryout selection. Even for those on the JV squad, the more tumbling skills we have the better JV will be at games and competitions.
TRYOUT DATES: Anyone interested in being on the 2010/2011 varsity or JV teams will need to tryout. Varsity and JV are each limited to 25 squad members by CHSSA bylaws. Skill restrictions will be in place in order to tryout for varsity team next season. In order to try out for varsity, the girls will need to be able to perform a standing backhandspring and a roundoff-backhandspring.
Information meeting: parents and girls need to attend, Tuesday, April 6th 6-8pm Monarch Cafeteria. (NOTE THIS DATE HAS CHANGED! It was Thursday, April 8th.)
Tryout clinics: Mon - Thurs, April 12-15 from 3:30 to 6:30 in the gym.
Tryouts: Friday, April 16 at 3:30 in gym.
The new JV and Varsity teams will be announced Friday evening following tryouts.
New team parent meeting (Varsity and JV): Wed, 4/21 6:30 - 8pm in cafeteria.
New uniform orders Monday, 4/26. We will be ordering new uniforms for varsity and JV, JV will also continue to use the game uniform, and varsity will keep their comp uniform the same.
Varsity summer camp: Spirit Xpress West July 21, 22, and 23.
JV camp will be different. We will attend the UCA camp at CU July 6-9. This is a sleepover camp in Boulder. They will stay in the dorms at the college Mon, Tues, and Wed. Thursday is a day for parents to come and see what we have learned.
Help spread the word about tryouts. It would be great to have 25 JV and 25 Varsity squad members next season. JV would consider coed participants as well if there is enough interest.
Tell your friends and neighbors in 8th grade as well.

Xtreme Altitude Tumbling
.
Everyone should have received an email from Xtreme concerning the tumbling class. The email states that the current quarter ends February 28th, and if you do not plan to continue the class in March, then you need to let them know by February 12th.
I told the girls at practice that it is no longer necessary for them to continue at Xtreme for tumbling for the remainder of the season. However, if you are not continuing, you need to call Xtreme and give them notice of your plans. If you take no action, they will assume you are continuing the same plan starting in March, and charge your credit card with the normal amount. If you make Varsity next season, I am sure that they can prorate to the new schedule as needed.
Varsity girls are required to attend through February, and begin again after tryouts if they make the Varsity squad. At that point, anyone who makes the varsity squad will attend the tumbling class on Tuesday evening and mat rental on Thursday nights from 7 to 8:30 (or maybe 7:30 to 9, not yet determined.) So, in the past the varsity girls just continue all year long at Xtreme.
For JV, I am looking into other options for tumbling instruction that may affect only those on JV next season. I will have those details ready as we start next season in April. In the meantime,I advise everyone planning to remain in cheer to get tumbling instruction somewhere to learn those skills.

Week of Feb 1st to 5th
We have an oppurtunity to cheer at a Varsity Girls basketball game next Tuesday while Varsity cheer is having mat rental practice at Xtreme. Usually on Tuesdays, half of Varsity tumbles at Xtreme and the other half goes to the game. Next week, they really need an extra full-squad practice before nationals, so I said that we could cheer that night instead of tumbling. However, we will be missing 2 cheerleaders next week, so we need to practice to perform with fewer girls. Also, we want to make a good impression at the Varsity game.
Full schedule next week:
Monday, Feb 1, practice in cafeteria 5:30 to 7:30 (Only those performing at varsity game.)
Tuesday, Varsity game 7pm, arrive 6:20pm. (done by 9)
Wednesday, OFF
Thursday, practice after school until 4:30pm. Arrive for wrestling match at 6:50pm (stay until about 8:20)
Friday, JV game arrive 4:45 for 5:15 game.
